Tour Ready – Meet & Greets | Ausdance Victoria
Ausdance Victoria’s Tour Ready – Meet & Greet is a program that provides the opportunity for small-to-medium dance companies and established choreographers from all state and territories in Australia to pitch tour-ready dance work/s to national and international presenters in the intimate surrounds of Chunky Move Studios in Melbourne, Victoria.
Call for Applications
The 2019 Tour Ready – Meet & Greets will be held at Chunky Move Studios on Thursday 14 March 12 – 3pm and Friday 22 March 12 – 3pm. You must be available for these dates and times.
Applications from small-to-medium Dance Companies and Choreographers from all state and territories in Australia, from diverse backgrounds and abilities, including but not limited to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTIQ+, and individuals of all abilities are highly encouraged.
Each successful Dance Company/Choreographer will be allocated approximately one 20-min block in the program which includes:
- 15-minute presentation of Tour-Ready work/s (video/powerpoint presentation only)
- 5 minutes Q&A with the audience

Visit Ausdance Victoria’s website and complete the online application form by 9am Wednesday 7 November 2018.
Monday 1 October: Applications open
Wednesday 7 November, 9am: Closing date for applications
Friday 23 November: Successful and unsuccessful applicants notified
Late November: Dance Massive program launch
(please note successful applicants will not be included in the printed program but will be included online and in documents sent to delegates)
Monday 29 January: Information for delegate program due
Monday 4 March: Powerpoint/Video presentations due
Thursday 14 March: Dance Massive Tour Ready – Meet & Greet presentations
